Yamaha PG1 Longest Trail from Jugan, Bau to Oyak Muot Waterfall and Exit to Sempadi Palm Oil Plantation 05072026

This is so far the longest trails that I've ever ridden on the Yamaha PG1 and one of the best! Approximately the team covered trail routes of around 60 to 70 kilometres minus the asphalt roads we were riding on the way to the starting grid & on our way back home as soon as we are out of the trails.

I'm waiting for the group somewhere at Pan Borneo Highway since they need to take breakfast. I never really expected today is going to be a long day but it was worth it.

This is our first stop before started climbing, so as usual we did final inspections & setups. I flattened the rear & front tyres a bit to get a good grip on the ground especially on the loose rocks. Since I'm the one that has most experience on this route (other words of saying I used to ride this route a few times before but I'm not sure what they are like today) I reminded the team earlier that it's going to be a steep climb with loose rocks just to make sure they are mentally & visually prepared.

The team leader, Sushi.

Uncle Ali in action! Amazing rider at 65 years old!

Bro Joe enjoying his Sunday! This guy is such a consistent rider for a 50 years old.

Our second stop after the first steep uphill challenge.

A trail side discussion between uncle Ali & Wee. I'm guessing the discussion focus on the rear brake modification that Wee has done to his PG1.

Hong is having an issue with his front fender, that thing was caught by the loose rocks & got broken, so he need to remove the broken parts so it won't caused delay during the challenging ride today.

Bro Wee in actions! Wearing short pants is such a risk but I guess he's enjoying it maybe due to comfort & it allows free movements during riding.

Ths third stop for a drink.
This is a descend & the challenges here of course the loose rocks. Dodging loose rocks is not an easy task especially on our hands.

Bro Wee is the second victim of the day.
And this is the first victim of the loose rocks, uncle Ali.
The fall mess up on his rear brake lever but fortunately it's not jammed & can still be used.

This is another good challenge to all team members. This short descend is actually very tricky because it is tilted to the right from the pictures and tilted to the left for riders. This is no ordinary descend because riders can't let their left foot on the ground, only the right foot. In this case if we are not careful enough we might fall on the left side and immediately lost control and the worse part the bike might squeeze you.

Bro Hong in actions!

Clearly this guy was so tired riding he decided to push his bike going downhill slowly. A good technique but need to be careful not to slip the front tyre to the left.

I love this picture, showing the route at the back. This is actually ascending before we enter the route on the right side.

Taking a break before moving to the waterfall that is not very far from this stop.

And finally we are here, the Oyak Muot waterfall. It's been a while since I visited this waterfall, the previous visit I believe when I was still riding my Kawasaki KLX150 maybe more than 5 years back. It's good to be back visiting on the Yamaha PG1 this year & I hope I can ride the Yamaha here again or maybe using different bike InsyaAllah. Back then I called this waterfall as Jugan waterfall because there's no sign available anywhere telling the real name of this spot. This spot has the relax vibe, it's not hot like most shades in the jungle especially those with big shady trees, maybe because this spot is quite open and also near the water. I can feel the breeze and it's very relaxing, a perfect spot for camping or picnic but not many people can reach this spot and I don't think a 4 wheeler can also reach this place, only enduro oriented bikes or bicycles.

Brother Joe and his selfie technique.

Our nature, our responsibility!

The water looks very refreshing.

This was on our back home using different route leading us to Sempadi palm oil plantation.

After a long ride in the palm areas finally we reached this part that has living areas and shops. This I believe Sempadi 4 area under FELDA plantation. We were so glad to reach this place as we could have some drinks as everyone was out of water already and also we can have some quick lunch before heading home. This little shops also selling fuel in case we needed one and that's very good especially for bikes that have small tank capacity.

Yamaha PG1 is just an amazing dual purpose moped.

The ride started officially around 8:45 am and we ended reaching home at around 3:30 pm and this is why I called this ride as the longest trail so far for this year.
