Upgrading Yamaha PG1 Brake Lever to CNC Aluminium Alloy Lever

A nice looking lever always have a soft spot in my mind especially those that have functions that I'm looking for. Somehow most brake levers are almost the same especially in term of their design or should I say universal and if we need to do some fitting adjustment we only need to modify it a bit for example a small grinding or sanding or sometimes drilling. The lever that I got today is not an ordinary lever, it's more to motocross or enduro riding type of lever that share most wonderful features like foldable, light, durable & simple. I tried to get myself the black color but it was not available, so instead of black or red I chose orange to match my bike brown & black theme.

Once installed this thing is looking awesome! It is short but very nice to hold & handle. It took me only 2 fingers to pull the lever & completely stop the bike. I'm so loving it!

This is one of the functions that I'm talking about, it can be folded to the front in case you fall on the right & something might caught the lever, ordinary lever will definitely break but not this one for sure. At least this will make you less worried whether you van still use the front brake or not.
This is another way the lever can be folded if we are falling on the right side. The force from the contact will push the lever up & again save it from breaking.

Just a minor modification on the part that's connected to the brake light switch clip and the lever is ready to be used. This will ensure the brake indicator operating as usual no matter where you are. Stay seen stay safe!

Don't forget to put some thread lock on most of the threads that you can see on the lever. This action will benefit most enduro riders as during offroad riding there are going to be a lot of vibrations that may cause the bolts & nuts to loose or be untighten.

This is from rider's point of view, you can see how short it is & how much it will give the freedom of movement to your right hand.
