Recently I've been wondering what is the actual capacity of Yamaha PG1 fuel capacity, I wanna see when the fuel gauge/meter showing below than empty how far the bike can go. So I ran a test to ride it as long as I can & see what's left once the fuel gauge meter goes below the red line. For your information, it was said that we can go for 100 kilometers with 1.68 liter of fuel in PG1 & for full tank can reach up to around 300 kilometers which is quite impressive if you ask me!
Below red line before fuelling at the petrol station.
As full as it can get with the 4.88 liter (RM10)
I put RM10 & get 4.88 liter with fuel almost reaching the fuel tank cap below surface.
The tank capacity was said to be 5.1 liter, in milliliters that would be 5100, when I put RM10 I got 4.88 liter (4880 milliliters). This left 220 milliliters in the tank when the fuel gauge meter goes below the red line.
So I calculated it (not sure if my calculation is correct or not) with the 220 milliliters or 0.22 liter I can ride for another 7 or 8 kilometres away before running out of fuel.
